Working as a young assistant to Norman Bodek, Maureen tells stories of the days when Dr. Shigeo Shingo would visit the United States and Maureen was there during these visit. 

Maureen also expounds on when SMED and TPM were introduced to Western manufacturers in the early days of JIT.
