हमारा जन्म और हमारी मृत्यु दोनों ही एक बहुत बड़ा रहस्य है | और इस रहस्य को ना जन्म लेने वाला जानता है और नहीं मृत्यु को प्राप्त होने वाला | जन्म लेने वाला नहीं जानता कि वह कहां से आया है | मृत्यु को प्राप्त होने वाला भी नहीं जानता कि वह कहां जा रहा है | लेकिन क्योंकि हम मरना नहीं चाहते इसलिए आत्मा और पुनर्जन्म में विश्वास करते हैं | अगले जनम या पुनर्जन्म के बारे में तो बुद्ध ने भी कहा है | लेकिन आत्मा के बारे में बुध कुछ नहीं कहते | क्योंकि आत्मा के साथ हमारे बहुत सारे विश्वास जुड़े | हमारे लिए आत्मा का मतलब है हमारा हूबहू एक दूसरा रूप जो हम ही हैं लेकिन बिना शरीर के | इसमें फायदा यह है कि हम मरते नहीं है |

Our birth and our death are both a great mystery. And this secret is not known to the one who is born and not the one who will die. One who is born does not know where he has come from. Even the one who dies does not know where he is going. But because we don't want to die we believe in soul and reincarnation. Buddha has also said about the next birth or rebirth. But Mercury does not say anything about the soul. Because many of our beliefs are associated with the Spirit. For us the soul means our exact another form which we are but without a body. The advantage in this is that we do not die.
