Mavens of Manufacturing Ep. 96: Machine Building and Mechanical Design
In this episode of Mavens of Manufacturing, Meaghan Ziemba sits down with two greats from Edgewater Automation: Jayna Hardy and Ashley Tanksley.
Jayna is a mechanical engineer with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Product Design certificate from Ferris State University. She also has SolidWorks Designer certifications up to the expert level and loves learning new ways to improve herself and her work.
Outside of work, Jayna enjoys helping people and volunteering at her church.
Ashley is a machine builder who was recently honored as one of the Department of Labor/Michigan Work! Top Five Apprenticeships. She also won a $20,000 scholarship out of high school and used it to buy tools for her job at Edgewater. Her tool kit is the envy of many of her co-workers :).
