Will discusses the Mavericks 118-109 loss to the Denver Nuggets, a game which included lots of injuries (Kyrie, THJ, Davis Bertans, and Maxi for the Mavs, and Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray for the Nuggets), a very lackluster team defensive performance from the Mavericks, a 37 point haymaker from Luka Doncic with seemingly no notable contributions outside of Christian Wood otherwise, and some interesting rotations from HC Jason Kidd. Will talks about where the Mavericks could position themselves post All Star Break or where we could see them slope a little further and also sets the stage for a fun weekend around the league that will presumably feature Luka and Kyrie playing in an all star game (both as starters) together. He also gets into Christian Wood's state as a Maverick which is a sort of mysterious one as he kind of alludes too. Lastly, he touches on newly signed Maverick Justin Holiday as he questions why he didn't play when J-Kidd said he would pre-game.
