“After more than a decade away, the Wave God is officially back.
Max B made his long-awaited return to the public eye on November 9th… and the city felt it immediately. The Harlem legend—whose career was cut short in 2009 after legal troubles led to a 16-year sentence—wasted no time shaking the room. Hours after being released, he popped out at a New York Jets game, letting the world know: Max B is outside again. Just days later, Max B hit the stage for his ‘Welcome Home’ show at Salsa Con Fuego… and it was sold out. Fans packed the venue to watch the Wave perform classics like ‘I Gotta Habit’ and ‘Sexy Love’, records that helped define his sound during the mid-2000s. But this wasn’t just a comeback performance—this was a teaser for what’s next. On social media, Max B shared footage from the studio… standing side-by-side with French Montana and producer Harry Fraud. Three names… one room… one wave. Max captioned it: ‘Three legends. One room. One Wave. History in the studio. Stay tuned.’ And if that wasn’t enough? Max dropped another hint, saying: ‘Working on the G-Day. Coke Wave 3 loading.’ That means what everyone hoped is now on the horizon…
Coke Wave 3 might actually be coming. Max B is home.
The Wave is rising.
And hip-hop is watching.”
