Max, is a 50 year old complex trauma survivor on a journey of healing.  Their abuse is layered, touching on important topics about science, culture, mental illness, stigmas, and especially the toxicity of religion. They tell the story of their childhood, including Max's cisterself Jill; an alternate identity.
