Max Gomez grew up in NJ and came to California with the plan of studying neuroscience. His plans changed when he realized he had a lifelong struggle with dyslexia. Simultaneously, while working as an EMT he was exposed to the power of breath in acting as a remote control for our emotions. He coupled that with experiences in marketing and a few years post graduating launched the company Breathwrk.
