Kenya has a health index of 62.1 hence ranked 2nd in Africa and 155 globally based on our highly skilled healthcare professionals, medical equipment, diagnosis and treatment.
The bad news is that Healthcare in Kenya is costly plus approximately 1,000-1500 doctors graduate every year yet doctors are jobless. Additionally most Kenyans currently have not subscribed to medical insurance because the tradeoff is forgoing their basic needs (food, shelter, clothing).
