Title: Participate in the Intercession of Christ

This week we will be celebrating Pentecost and reflecting on the great gift of the Holy Spirit. All Christian prayer & worship are gifts of the Spirit. We are much more inclined to see prayer & worship as a duty that is demanded of us, rather than a gracious gift that is offered to us - something we have to do for God, rather than something that God does in us. We will examine two different approaches - Prayer as Duty and Prayer as Gift. What if God is on our side of the relationship shaping & inspiring our response to the Father & the Son, revealing to us what & how to pray, and enabling us to participate in the intercession of Christ?
