Authorities in Maryland say a man set a fire at a Walmart Supercenter in Elkton to distract from a jewelry theft, then fled on a motorcycle. Police say he was arrested in New Jersey and is being held pending extradition.
The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford returned to Naval Station Norfolk after 326 days at sea, ending nearly 11 months of deployment across several regions. Navy leaders welcomed the strike group home and announced a Presidential Unit Citation.
