“The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.” — Proverbs 16:4 (ESV)
“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.” — Psalm 55:23 (ESV)
“All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:18 (ESV)

Ever feel like life is random or unfair, like nothing really makes sense? Proverbs 16:4 reminds us that God made everything with a purpose—even the struggles and challenges we face. In Psalm 55, we see that God invites us to cast our worries on Him, proving that He wants to carry our burdens so we don’t collapse under the weight of life. And in 2 Corinthians 5, Paul shows us that we’ve been given a special calling to bring God’s love and reconciliation into the world—meaning our lives matter, and our actions can make a difference.
It’s easy to feel lost, especially in school, friendships, or social media drama, but God’s plan is bigger than any challenge. When we trust Him, cast our cares on Him, and choose to live as His ambassadors, every setback, heartbreak, or difficulty becomes part of a bigger picture. Even your mistakes and struggles can be used for something good if you let God work through them.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Purpose in Everything: How does knowing God has a purpose for even the difficult things in life (Proverbs 16:4) change the way you view challenges?
2. Let God Carry It: Are there worries or burdens you’ve been holding onto that God wants you to give Him (Psalm 55:23)? What would it look like to trust Him fully?
3. Your Mission: What is one way you can be a messenger of God’s love or reconciliation in your school, home, or friend group (2 Corinthians 5:18)?

BOTTOM LINE
Your life has meaning, your struggles have purpose, and God wants to use you to make a difference.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving my life meaning and for carrying my burdens when I feel overwhelmed. Help me to trust Your purpose in every situation and to be a light of Your love to those around me. Teach me to walk in the calling You’ve given me and to rely on You in every challenge. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
