Tom Johnson helps us revisit – then live out in our own lives – the events of Pentecost in Acts 2. The Living Presence of God that had been so rigorously reserved for only the high priest, only once a year, only after meticulous cleansings and preparations, was now set loose and was taking up residence in those first disciples; and that indwelling Reality brought about such a change in those men and women that they were truly fearless in the face of the same opposition that had had them cowering only weeks before.
This explosion of God’s Presence into His people is a picture of God’s heart for us and for the world.
