“The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.” — Proverbs 16:33 (ESV)
“My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” — Psalm 62:5, 6 (ESV)
“Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” — Ephesians 6:14 (ESV)

Ever feel like life is a game of chance, where everything is unpredictable and out of your control? It can feel that way when school, friendships, or even family situations get complicated. Proverbs 16:33 reminds us that even when things seem random, God is in control of every detail. Psalm 62 encourages us to find our rest in Him, trusting that He is our rock no matter what storms come. And Ephesians 6 shows us that we aren’t helpless—we can put on God’s armor to stand strong in the face of challenges, protecting ourselves with truth, righteousness, and faith.
Life might feel uncertain, but God’s plan is sure.
