Author Debby Meltzer Quick dials back to the 80s in her high school class series and we are here for it! She gets candid with her writing process as well as a discussion of including mental health awareness in the book. She's definitely a great author to watch out for!

About the book:

May I Have Your Attention Please is the first book in the series, McKinney High Class of '86. This series tells the stories of seven high school friends, highlighting their successes and struggles from early childhood into adulthood. Along the way, they learn the true meaning of loyalty, and that your first friends are often the most special. This is an ongoing story about coming of age and falling in love in the wicked awesome, and sometimes confusing and funny, world of the1980s.
