We hear God's promises. We know them. We even believe them. But like Mary asking the angel, we often say, "But how will this be?" The "how" we may not know. But the faithfulness and love of our Savior God assures us that not one word of his will fail. And so we pray along with Mary, "May your word to me be fulfilled!"
This sermon based on Luke 1:26-38 was preached on the Fourth Sunday in Advent, December 20, 2020, for a sermon series called "Joyful Hope."
