Maya said “I hate this house.” The house heard her.
It’s a rainy Saturday, and Maya and Leo are stuck in the room they share. Leo tapes a line down the middle. The stair creaks too much, the clock is too loud, the hall is too boring, and the room is much too small. So they say it. All of it. Out loud.
Tonight: a stair that creaks when nobody’s on it. A clock that strikes thirteen. Stairs that never reach the bottom. Mom’s voice from the wrong floor. And a line of tape that won’t stay a line.
Maya’s warning: this one happens at home. Find a hand to hold.
Scary bedtime story for kids (ages 4–8). Roughly 15 minutes. Endings safe. New episodes weekly.
Next week: our Halloween special comes out Saturday, October 31.

Bea said “Wait.” Maya didn’t.
It’s the school scavenger hunt: a feather, a red leaf, a smooth stone, and something that starts with M. Maya has a plan, and everybody just has to do what she says. Then the basket breaks. Then a red leaf starts walking uphill by itself.
Tonight: a line of ants that stops going where it was going. One thin whisper from under the hill. A wall of tiny feet, closing like a hand. And the sound of a whistle getting farther away.
Maya’s warning: this one is actually scary. Find a hand to hold, and don’t let go.
Scary bedtime story for kids (ages 4–8). Roughly 17 minutes. Endings safe. New episodes weekly.

Maya said “No room.” Then the fog said it back.
It’s a Saturday in October, and Maya, Bea, Ashi and Milo are building the best haunted fort in the neighborhood. There’s one empty corner, the ghost corner. Twiggy asks if she can join. There’s room. They say there isn’t. And the fog is coming up the street.
Tonight: a wall of white that takes the sound first. Four kids lifted out of the yard and carried away. A game going on without them, far off. And every door shutting in their own words.
Maya’s warning: this one starts with a fort and ends somewhere much colder. Find a hand to hold.
Scary bedtime story for kids (ages 4–8). Roughly 14 minutes. Endings safe. New episodes weekly.

It's October, and at the playground, everyone has had one treat. That's the rule. But behind the squeaky swing, at the edge of the woods, there's a tree with candy growing right out of its branches. Red ones. Yellow ones. Chocolate with caramel inside.
Tonight: every time someone asks for one more, the tree gives it to them. And the path home gets a little farther away. Maya, Bea, Twiggy, and little Milo are about to meet the biggest tree in the whole forest. It only knows one word. More. And Maya learns that wanting another isn't the same as needing another.
Maya's warning: this one starts sweet. It doesn't stay that way. Find a hand to hold.

Maya's friends are in this one. It's a fog day at school, indoor recess — and the sharing shelf has a rule: everything on it is everybody's. But Bea says "mine" about the blue blocks. Maya says "mine" about the gold marker. And something in the room says it back.
In their voices. A little bit late. A little bit lower. Every "mine" anybody says all day, at the same time, in everybody's voice.
Maya and the Fog is a scary story podcast for brave kids ages 4–8. Real suspense, safe endings. New episodes every week.

And there's a very old rule about that. Everybody has a Grumble, and naps aren't for you. Naps are for the thing inside you.Tonight, one hour at a time: a yawn that comes out wrong. Leo says there's no such thing as a spider the size of a wolf. Leo was asleep. It's a foggy Tuesday night in California.
