Today on the podcast we're breaking down the 2018 book "I'll Be Gone in the Dark," written by Michelle McNamara, along with the 2020 HBO documentary of the same name. "I'll Be Gone in the Dark" details the prolific crimes of Joseph James DeAngelo, better know as "The Golden State Killer." Since it was released before DeAngelo was caught and his identity was still unknown, the book focuses on the victims' collective stories and serves as a call to arms to find this killer and bring him to justice.
