Ego is selfish and leads to mistakes, conflicts, bad decisions, and seasons of frustration. It’s tricky though because it doesn’t have to look like arrogance or self-promotional ignorance. It can be an internal, debilitating disease that embitters us toward those around us for reasons they are completely unaware of.

Recognizing our tendency to feed our egos and then disconnecting from it opens us up to seeing value in others and genuinely caring, collaborating, and positively impacting the world around us.
