“God’s Covenant With Adam”

* The three parts to God’s “Covenant with Adam”

1. In respect to Satan

* Genesis 3:14 “Cursed” = “arur” in Hebrew = A word expressing God’s judgment

* Genesis 3:14 “crawl on your belly” = To become an entity that moves around as an enemy of God

* 2 Corinthians 4:4 “The god of this age…” = A word expressing God’s judgment

* Genesis 3:15 “her offspring” (singular form) = Jesus Christ

* Genesis 3:15 “your offspring” (singular form) = Antichrist

* Revelation 20:10 “And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (NIV)

2. In respect to women

* Genesis 3:16 “desire” = “Teshqah” in Hebrew = rule, reign
