“The Marriage of Jacob”

1. How Jacob and Rachel met
* Genesis 29:1 “…Jacob continued on his journey…” (Direct translation: “Jacob lifted his feet.”)

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
* “Bloom Where God has Planted You” by Reinhold Niebuhr
Please bloom where God has placed you.
Rather than give up, make the best of your life and bloom like a flower.
To bloom is to live happily.
Let your joy make others happy.
Your smile is contagious.
When you are happy and show it by your smile
Others will know it and are happy too.
God has planted you in a special place.
If you know it share it with others, your personality will shine.
It is that “shine” which we call “Bloom”
When I bloom in the place where God has placed me
My life becomes a beautiful flower
in the garden of life.
Bloom where God has planted you.
