* The Gospel: “People have sin and are separated from God, so there were in a state unable to go to heaven after dying. Jesus Christ came to this earth to remove the barrier of sin between people and God. He bore that sin on the cross, suffered the punishment in our place, died, and rose again on the third day, thereby resolving the problem of sin. And anyone who accepts that Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection were for the resolution of their own sin receives forgiveness of sins and the hope of going to heaven.”
