The opening hour of the show had Hernan Salas and Joaquin Gage breaking down the comments from Connor McDavid speaking to the media about his contract negotiations.

Matt Iwanyk joined the boys at the studio desk to preview the Edmonton Elks battling the Calgary Stampeders in the Labour Day Rematch at Commonwealth Stadium and talked some Canada soccer.

The hour ended with Zach to the Future, with Matt stepping in for Zach.
