I put a McDonald's Quarter Pounder, a Burger King Whopper, and Walmart 80/20 ground beef under the microscope at 40x, 100x, 400x magnification — testing for microplastics, synthetic fibers, and anything that shouldn't be in your burger.
Three samples. One microscope. Zero corporate spin.
New studies confirm microplastics are now being found in beef, ground meat, and the wider food supply. I wanted to see for myself. Are fast food burgers carrying more plastic than the ground beef you buy at Walmart? Or is the problem everywhere?
