I read this beautiful article about ping pong by 'thebengali'. Loved what he said about the game. When he was young he use to play ping pong at the local community club. There was a small boy who use to come daily to play, concentrate on his game, lost to the seniors but was completely

focused on his own game. He improved himself by practicing and

later he was about to beat them.

The secret, behind his winning, according to the small boy, were two things, one he just tried to put the ball back on the table everytime and the second was that he played at his own pace.

What a beautiful philosophy... In an environment where we are under authority, the first thing is to concentrate on our own responses and on being proactive. The second thing is we have to concentrate on our strengths.

The third thing we can do is play at our pace so that the person in front of us has to do the same.

This will lead to a win win situation in life as we are focused on improving our ownselves... By persevering, begin neutral, honing our strengths and being aware of our weaknesses.
