The report has found parliamentary clerk Craig James engaged in misconduct. He retired effective immediately. A non financial settlement was reached between him and the legislative assembly.

Phoenix Pay System Mess

The Parliamentary Budget Officer - in a report released yesterday - says  fixing the deeply flawed system would cost more than replacing it. Cleaning up the mess would cost $2.6 billion, but replacing it would cost a modest $57 million.

Electric Vehicle Cost

A new survey by BC Hydro has found commuting in an electric car in the lower mainland, is cheaper than ever. Driving around 20kms a day in a Honda Civic - the top selling sedan - would cost six times more than it would in a Nissan Leaf - the top selling EV.
