Driving the future: On board with McLaren -
Lucas is delighted and proud to reveal that our corporate brand will be emblazoned on this season’s new McLaren F1 MCL34 race car.
We are currently enjoying our third term and seventh year with McLaren and now we have upped the pace. Lucas is now one of McLaren’s Official Partners that will see Lucas on the side of the latest race car for the 2019 F1 race season.
Lucas continues to work closely with McLaren at its iconic campus at Woking in Surrey where we have the opportunity to show other clients some of the work we do in one of the country’s most fantastic corporate headquarters. Now with our brand on the sides of the F1 car some 500 million race fans around the world will see us too.
Lucas Scoops New Project in Shard Place -
Lucas has won the full decorations package for Shard Place, a 26-storey residential development located alongside The Shard and The News Building, which marks the third phase of the 2.5 million square ft. regeneration of Shard Quarter.
Shard Place will deliver 176 private residential apartments of varied configuration including studio and one, two and three bedroom apartments. Amenities include a lounge, cinema, spa and gym on the fourth floor, a double height lounge and private roof terrace on level 16, and a steam room and sun deck on the roof.
Lucas is fast approaching a fully-fledged digital operating system -
Lucas has almost completed its behind-the-scenes transformation into a fully operational digital company. We are at the forefront of developing and exploiting app technologies and progressing our 2020 digital strategy towards running operations on just four apps, making us leaner and more efficient.
And Finally
It's a first for the construction industry. Lucas is launching a fortnightly magazine show. The 20 minute show will include a wide range of topics such as construction, innovation, technology, women in construction, apprenticeships, training, health and well being.
