Malawi: Wisdom Chimgwede, Chairperson of the Media Council of Malawi, has described the council's yet-to-be-released Access to Information (ATI) Handbook as a CRUCIAL tool for journalists in Malawi.

Chimgwede made the remarks on Friday, August 19, 2022, at a one-day validation meeting of the ATI Handbook in Lilongwe organised by the Media Council of Malawi, a non-profit organisation founded by media institutions with the mission of promoting media self-regulation and professionalism in Malawi's media industry.
