Programmet ME and BIG JOE handler om blues-rock guitaristen Mike Bloomfield's møde i Chicago med Mississippi blues manden Big Joe Williams. De bliver venner og Big Joe inviterer Bloomfield med rundt i Chicago og omegn. De besøger Big Joes gamle blues venner. Efter alle besøgene skriver Bloomfield en bog om sin oplevelse med Big Joe. Programmet er fra 2010 og de relaterede blues tunes spilles til historien.
