Our Savior, the lamb who was slain, was not stolen from us. Nor was he taken before his time. But our Savior gave himself up freely. Not being overcome by the pressures of political powers. Out smarted by the powers that be. Or was he found guilty. No, instead he gave himself to bear our iniquities. I hope you are blessed by today's reading as we are called to consecrate ourselves to the cause of Christ.
