Oh how I've missed talking to you beautiful people! We are back and better than ever, but first an important affirmation to always remind ourselves is LIFE HAPPENS. We can't take life too seriously and continue to let other people, jobs, relationships, etc. take over our true purpose of why we are here. Let's start summer off the right way and take back our ME TIME!

We have now entered the month of love. Recognizing Black History Month, supporting and validating their culture for the hardships they had to overcome to be where they are now. And of course, recognizing the love they've brought to this world and continue bringing till this day. I thought it was only right to share a story time of my first time being in love and learning the most important lesson. I'll answer: loving MYSELF. I'm still learning to balance giving love and choosing where it's needed. Appreciated. Your love is eternal, thank you for being you.

What do you believe in? What do we follow when we want more answers? Who/What do we look up to when we are at our lowest? These are all questions we discover going throughout our journey. If none of those have been answered yet, then ask yourself, "How do I make this world a better place?" and start there. As long as we hold good intentions in our hearts and wish nothing but love upon everyone, I think you'll be just fine.

Being alone does not equal loneliness. Don't feel guilt if you prefer to be by yourself. Consider it as a bigger step to your journey and love the person you are alone with all day everyday. In reality, you are never truly alone because God is on your side, always. Someone is listening. We generate love and compassion for everyone over here. Let's spread that shit baby.

Finding ourselves locked in on social media for hours upon hours can exhaust the spirit. It can create visions in our heads of people that aren't us. A power that we all hold, possibly haven't unlocked yet, is our uniqueness. The ability to say we have something that nobody else carries except ourselves. I believe in you. Do you believe in you? Go through life saying you were nothing less, but yourself.

We are still reminiscing the events and changes that occurred in this past year. Something I've been reflecting on for a while now and this is my intake on the year I experienced. The lessons I learned from my journey of 2021. A whole other year around the sun and I couldn't be more grateful to take on another one. I recommend we all take a look back and find what let us stand here today. And remember to: feel it, accept it, learn from it, and love it. Let's FALL this year to reconcile with the best versions of us.

It's time to stop blaming ourselves for when things don't go our way. It's time to reflect on what we've learned or are still learning through our process of growing.
