Jesus did lots of ministry during meals. Jesus attended dinners and he attended banquets.  He went to people's homes and he accepted many invitations, from many different people.

   Throughout the gospels we find that Jesus ate with Jews AND Gentiles, he ate with friends and family, those who were downcast and those who were leaders and rulers. He ate with his followers and those who were his foes. Those that were close to him and those that were perfect strangers.  He ate with people who were repentant, but also with those who were defiant, with those who were ritually unclean and morally unclean.  He dined with people of EVERY sort!

Jesus engaged in people's daily lives and he did it through meals.
