Sometimes movies fail, but it is always better to see a movie fail when it goes all out rather than playing it safe.  If you're going to fail, fail big, fail huge.   Disney's "Nutcracker and the Four Realms" is a completely weird, quite poor, movie.  But, at least it tried hard.
