this was the first song Mickey and I recorded together. I sent this track to him last May. At the time, POCKET DIAL, the band, didn't exist yet. I was playing around with the idea of having theme music to accompany the bobcast. Mickey sent me back a demo with lyrics attached and instantly I was mesmerized. I realized in that moment, that this was something more than just a "Uncle Jessie and Uncle Joey" jingle. This could be a band. I've been in two other groups before, downtown harvest and ditto demi, so I was immediately hooked on the principal that we could start a "bubble rap" band with hip-hop roots that never used profanity. (positivity, yo) The album is almost done , we're happy to announce our CD RELEASE SHOW will be October 24th at the Grape Room in Philadelphia's historic Manayunk -- a LIVE BOBCAST/POCKET DIAL event.
