Want to improve your medical practice revenue cycle?

Start at the very beginning, with patient appointments.  Today’s BIG Ideas podcast describes measuring the total capacity of available provider appointments, and then looking for ways that total capacity can be reduced.  I will describe a practice in Texas where advanced practitioners would block Fridays in advance and then open those times if the rest of the schedule was full.  That’s a surefire way to reduce patient appointments and the resulting revenue.  What is your practice doing that is choking parts of your revenue cycle?
