When Nikki VanderHeyden's murdered body was found on the side of a Wisconsin road detectives quickly suspect her boyfriend Doug Detrie. 

And why wouldn't they? Doug has motive, opportunity, and a not so air-tight alibi.

But, detectives would soon find out not everything is as it seems, and Doug Detrie's Fitbit might be the only thing to help solve this crime.
