The Media Freedom Festival is set to explore the media landscape in the digital era and is taking place as we commemorate Black Wednesday in South Africa. The Media Freedom Festival is in partnership with the SABC.

Set to kick off today, the festival will be interrogating the threats and opportunities facing South African media today, what role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the outlook of the industry and how it will impact the upcoming 2024 National Elections.
