With me today is Liz and Caspar and they’re with Media Revolution.
Established in October 2024 in London UK, Media Revolution is a new collaborative, self-organized working group.
The people involved are laser-focused on the media being the primary route to real change, around the world.
With deep roots in national-level climate, social justice and transport campaigns in the UK we’re experienced and incredibly determined. Our core team is small, but growing – and we’re reaching out internationally – this is a global campaign.
Key Outcomes of the Revolution
The following outcomes may serve as guideposts for this success:
Beyond Regulation: media transformed from billionaire control to one that prioritizes radical solutions and serves the public good, protected by law.
Empowered Collaboration: Existing initiatives and movements join forces as collaborators, combining resources to accelerate impact.
Holistic Change: Decentralized media systems operate with integrity, truth and a focus on shared humanity across all narratives.
A Thriving Revolution: Movements unite, dismantling harmful systems and rebuilding with accountability and justice at the core.
3 Point Plan
We have a plan. It’s a three point plan.
1. Unite movements and people who are negatively affected by malignant media in realizing the severity of this shared issue
2. Collaborate with ‘the four core responses to media issues: Replace, Regulate, Radicalize and Resist
3. Coordinate moments of revolution – such as Media Liberation Day, 5th November, annually – where all four responses align for a moment of awareness and action!
