Whether it’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, Love and HipHop, Basketball Wives or Tyler Perry movies, do we really have an idea on the effect (positive, negative or otherwise) on our psyche? Is there an effect or is it just entertainment? We go a bit in depth on this topic as there are many different ways this can be looked at and many different effects that can be attributed to the media we consume. We also delve into the mental health aspect of this. Could there possibly be a connection between some mental health conditions and the media we’re consuming?
