In this episode, I get personal. I have a pretty abysmal experience taking my 80-year old father to the doctor's office which leads to me think about the term "Medical Freedom" and what exactly that means.

Just as my dad should be able to make the choices that suit him best, without a doctor playing gatekeeper, we also need to allow others to make choices for the health EVEN and ESPECIALLY when we disagree. While it might be a more Libertarian stance than some and might even anger others, I have found that the best approach to the conversation is one of data and transparency. We cannot count on the regulatory agencies to uphold their duties and as such, we must open the data and allow others to come to their own conclusions.
