On our Medical Matters tonight we are joined by Prof Amanda Krause, Head of the division of human genetics at the national health laboratory service and school of Pathology at the university of the Witwatersrand chatting to us about genetic chronic disease, types that exist, some common conditions, are they curable, when should one have a test to see if they have GCD, how much does it cost? if you don't know that your family has GCD should one do a yearly test just to be on the safe side etc.
