Caitlin Hertzog, RN, care manager at the Valley Health Partners Street Medicine Program joins us once again to talk about their medical respite program. We talk about how medical respite care allows for patients experiencing homelessness to obtain surgical procedures or preventative screenings that require prep. Caitlin also talks about how the implementation of medical respite programs can help to decrease re-admission rates and a variety of other reasons for hospital networks.
