Meditation And Manifesting Success With Graham Scheiblich Part 2

Listen Later

In this episode of the podcast Gavin is joined for the second part of their chat by entrepreneur and intuitive business coach Graham Scheiblich who talks about how to centre yourself, how to meditate and the benefits of meditation in all aspects of your life, from business to personal relationships. In this half of the conversation, Graham turns the tables somewhat on Gavin and things get deep.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • As an entrepreneur, you’ll be surrounded by a lot of noise. It’s important to stay aware of current affairs, but you have to see yourself as a separate creative being. Knowing yourself in your environment is something you should spend some time in – people usually only experience this at huge life events like the birth of a child or the death of a loved one. When we experience ourselves like this intentionally, we see that we have greater choice and power of creativity over how we move about in the world and our environment. It brings a different perspective.
  • Be aware of the stories we tell and the mythologies we place around ourselves and spend a few moment with the times in our lives where we might have taken on more than we were ready to, developmentally, and it’s had an effect on us and we haven’t given ourselves the time and the space to allow ourselves to be the vulnerable person who had expectations about themselves and we’ve carried that through to today.
  • If we allow ourselves to spend some time with the felt sense, the pain that’s locked away and allow our bodies to release that, we’re not carrying such a heavy load anymore. If you’ve got a sports car in the garage and it’s full of luggage, it’s not going to perform very well.
  • Success and freedom mean something different to everybody. It’s easy to set goals that are inappropriate to who you are. If you’re out of touch with who you are, it’s really easy to measure yourself against what other people have. Always know yourself well enough to know what’s right for you. Celebrate the little wins you generate in your everyday life. Sometimes success is just a feeling, checking in with your body in the morning. Start from there and build a framework to get where you want to go filled with good stuff. Success will come quickly from there.

BEST MOMENTS

‘Never feel like a wallflower in a group presentation. A good leader will focus on that wallflower and get them to speak and usually they’ll floor everyone because they’ve been sitting back, listening and taking it all in.’

‘These are the stories that contain the raw material that people carry around with them all the time, unresolved.’

‘The stories we tell about ourselves don’t allow us to liberate ourselves from the conditions that we or the world have put on ourselves.’

‘With our mind we create the world, but before the mind creates the world the world created our mind. We don’t always know what we’re carrying with us.’

ABOUT THE GUEST

Graham Scheiblich has been an entrepreneur for 20 years, starting out as a contractor on building sites taught him to see tangible results very quickly and he realised that he was heavily influenced by someone he apprenticed under. This man was incredibly intuitive and flowed through his craft, being able to see where any flaws were and had a vision for how things should be done and quality control. Graham carried these qualities into his own construction business when he started it in 2001.

ABOUT THE HOST

Gavin Scott is a born entrepreneur with a passion for start up and scale up. He has over 20 years real estate experience in investment and development.

Gavin says: Over the years I have discovered that mindset is everything. Now, that might sound obvious, but it is! You see the number of awoken minds are very few in reality. Whilst acknowledging mindset is key it is absolutely different from utilising, influencing, impacting and effecting great change, for yourself, your loved ones, friends, colleagues and the wider public.

Why?

Like most of us I have had many ups and downs. I want to share the lessons learnt and promote a better environment for all, internally and externally!

How?

Through sharing my own experiences and hosting some fabulous individuals including some big household names to discuss key topics around mindset and the success formulas I hope the listener will become inspired to create space for change for betterment in their lives. I aim to inspire change by encouragement, not by force. I intend to inspire by education, not by regulation.
