Gayatri relates the detriment associated with un-forgiveness and how meditation can remedy this.  Un-forgiveness is insidious.  Having to consciously put on its cloak is a wast of time.  It is better to realize you are in un-forgiveness and meditation allows you to do this on purpose.  You may also be deluding yourself that you have forgiven  but meditation helps you root out this fallacy.  She points out that true forgiveness ends can sometimes manifest as indifference.  While not painful, it is certainly not the best choice but it is superior to un-forgiveness.  The opposite of love is not hate but actually indifference
