1. Who is Karina Ratiani?

Karina Ratiani is my real name. I’m not an italian, like most of the people think, I’m half georgian, that’s why I do have such a familyname.

Last 12 years after I’m back from Japan, where I spend my childhood&teenage, I base in Moscow. I've got a marketing MBA degree and in my everyday life I'm a Perrier brand Ambassador and responsible for all advertising activities in Russia.

I’m addicted music collector & DJ performer.

2. How did you start to spin records?

My friend Alex Kuznetsov (http://alexkuznetsov.org) is contemporary artist & used to spend lots of time at his cozy studio, always bringing music with me. And once he he said that's not fair to have the musical taste and such a collection, and not to share it with anyone. So he gave me a DJ mixer, showed the basics and told to sit and learn.

So I continuing since that day.
