Your favorite gorgons continue to answer life’s big questions this week by eviscerating a holy book from the early 2000s, highlighting a lovely story about an AI future gone right, and quoting tweets with abandon. Speaking of abandonment, Ruth tells of her adventures with the healing power of mushrooms and Sanyelle remembers how terribly wrong Ruth is about the VERY REAL existence of unicorns.

The Gorgons get together to talk about some of their experiences with pain and suffering and how that has shaped their view of the world, their sense of purpose, and what lies beyond our corporeal experience. They also discuss their favorite movie (Everything, Everywhere, All at Once) and book (Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler) with slight spoilers!

The gorgons take on life’s biggest questions, including but not limited to: does god exist? Do benevolent dictators exist? Do unicorns exist? We are getting into the swing of things and hitting our stride. We are here with our second Full Moon reading for the collective in celebration of the Full Moon in Leo. Ruth and Sanyelle honor the Leonine vibes by asking the cards: How do we best honor and accept who we are?

In this episode, the Gorgons explore themes from 2022, also known as The Year of Silence (for Medusa’s Circle). Ruth explores the possible validity of saying “everyone is doing the best they can” even though we are all instinctively rolling our eyes deep into our skulls. And Ruth’s take is pretty fucking beautiful. Sanyelle muses on escaping the trauma-bound life and the limiting beliefs that comes with facing PTSD, while forcing everyone to acknowledge that, hey, discipline is actually the answer to everything! JK.

For the Full Moon in Cancer, we decided to ask the cards what the collective can do in order to find radical healing. But first, we chatted about the Chariot 75, a cocktail designed by Ruth to celebrate the new year, the year of the Chariot!
