Hello everyone!! It had been a hectic week in the news, and the three of us thought one very important day was overlooked—Veterans Day. Veterans Day originated in 1919 as “Armistice Day,” and has since been celebrated (history.com). November 11 of this year marked the 101 anniversary. We had a discussion with Alan Wallach, a meteorologist in the Air Force over 50 years ago, about what service was like and memorable moments. Enjoy!!
