MOMumental is a podcast hosted by Emmy nominated talk show host and gender focused venture capitalist Jesse Draper. ‘MOMumental: A Journey’ will explore the world of childcare, education, foster care, parenting and anything pertaining to our children’s future. Draper will be discussing solutions to childcare challenges with entrepreneurs, celebrities, politicians and most importantly Moms (and Dads).
Ashley Hurd runs her own event planning business, Eventful Events, Inc., where she creates and produces fundraisers for worthy causes around California. Over the last 14 years, she and her team have raised millions of dollars for many incredible organizations. Originally from San Diego, she now resides in San Rafael with her husband, their energetic and caring son, as well as a foster baby or toddler when they have a placement. Ashley became a foster parent over 5 years ago and believes she is truly called to support and invest in the foster care system. She is all-in and passionate about changing the trajectory of the lives of foster youth. In addition to serving as Board President, Ashley manages the fundraising endeavors for Marin Foster Care Association
