Billy “BJ” Jones chats with author Diane Strand about her latest, co-authored work, Show Business: Breaking into the Industry as an Actor.

A two-time bestselling author, Strand provides pathways for career opportunities in the visual, performing, and digital arts. Her work includes a Title 17 program designed for adults with developmental disabilities and a California state-approved apprenticeship program for college graduates.

Strand’s career holds credits with A-list shows such as General Hospital, Friends, Veronica's Closet.

She is also an award-winning Executive Producer at JDS Studios and the television show, Spirit of Innovation, the first Riverside County, California, local news and information program. She is co-owner of JDS Video & Media Productions, Inc. / JDS Actors Studio, and founder of the nonprofit, JDS Creative Academy.
