Lara Ayad, PhD works as a freelance consultant in communications strategy, marketing, and research for a range of industries, including entertainment. While developing her PhD in Art History, she lived and worked in the U.S., Africa, and the Middle East, interviewing artists in multiple languages, digging through dusty archives, and figuring out the perfect sugar-to-Arabic-coffee ratio. Lara is proud to come from a family of artists and designers. In her free time she enjoys cooking, listening to podcasts, making new friends, and hiking the southern California mountains.
