Every week throughout the season, Coach Tortorella will join Flyers Broadcast Network host Jason Myrtetus for the Hockey & Hounds Podcast, discussing not only Flyers hockey but also his passion for animal welfare. This week we're finding Max a forever home. Max is a 3-year-old German Shepherd. He was rescued in October by our animal law enforcement team along with 5 other dogs who have been adopted. Max is a very smart and affectionate dog. He can be a little nervous at times but loves his handlers. He's a big guy who is very affiliative with people and is open to meeting kids who can respect his size and strength. He's open to meeting other dogs and would probably prefer a low key dog.
